BYD’s DENZA Rolls off 10,000th DENZA N9 Vehicle Two Months After Market Launch

Launched on March 21, 2025, the DENZA N9 is marketed as a technologically advanced, versatile SUV, with prices ranging from 389,800 yuan to 449,800 yuan.

The N9 showcases DENZA’s distinctive styling, featuring sleek, narrow headlights paired with C-shaped air intakes and an active grille at the front. A roof-mounted LiDAR unit enhances its advanced intelligent driving features. Along the sides, electronic rearview mirrors improve visibility and safety. The rear design, with full-width tail lights mirroring the front lamps, creates a visually wider appearance. The SUV measures 5,258 mm long, 2,030 mm wide, and 1,830 mm high, with a wheelbase of 3,125 mm.

Inside, the DENZA N9 offers a tech-focused cabin with a T-shaped dashboard. It includes a 13.2-inch digital driver display, a 13.2-inch front passenger entertainment screen, and a 17.3-inch central touchscreen. A four-spoke steering wheel with physical buttons and scroll wheels ensures user-friendly operation.

The vehicle features a six-seat layout in a 2+2+2 configuration, upholstered in premium leather. The driver’s seat has active side bolsters for added comfort, while the front passenger seat includes a four-way adjustable leg rest. The second row offers two independent seats with 14-way electric adjustments, lateral movement, dual leg rests with four-way adjustments, fold-out tables, and dual 50W wireless phone chargers. Additional features include a built-in refrigerator and a rear entertainment screen mounted on the roof.

The DENZA N9 is powered by a plug-in hybrid system, integrating a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 207 hp (152 kW) with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 680 kW. It offers a CLTC-rated electric range exceeding 200 km and a total range of up to 1,300 km.
