Held in Shanghai from July 21 to 23, the forum was themed "New Start, New Opportunities, New Journey — Jointly Drawing a New Blueprint for High-Quality Development of the Automotive Industry." China Central Television's financial channel (CCTV-2) provided key coverage of the event. The forum noted that the automotive industry now accounts for over one-third of the total scale of China's machinery industry, focusing on areas such as automotive chips, in-vehicle operating systems, high-end power battery materials, and core algorithms for intelligent driving, to promote the widespread application of new technologies, processes, materials, and equipment in the automotive sector, and to explore high-quality development models suited to the new era.
As a key domestic supplier of automotive-grade chips, ChipON Microelectronics presented its full product lineup at the event, including the new optical rain sensor SoC chip KF32A626x, chassis driver chips SMC6008AF/SMC6012, automotive MCU KF32A158, and RF chip SRT1200, comprehensively showcasing its deep layout in localized automotive chips and supporting the autonomous, controllable, and upgraded development of the automotive supply chain.

The KF32A626x, showcased at this event, is a highly integrated SoC chip released by ChipON Microelectronics this month, specifically designed for automotive optical rain sensors. It integrates core modules such as an MCU main controller, rain detection channel, light detection channel, and LIN communication interface. The chip captures rain and light changes by collecting photodiode current signals, which are converted from analog to digital and then uploaded in real-time by the MCU main controller to the body control module (BCM) via the LIN bus, completing the full-link processing from signal acquisition to data transmission. This supports intelligent functions such as automatic wipers, smart headlights, HUD brightness adjustment, and in-car temperature control. The solution simplifies hardware design and BOM management, reduces product size, and lowers overall vehicle costs.
In the chassis domain, ChipON Microelectronics showcased chassis driver chips SMC6008AF and SMC6012, along with exhibits such as ABS, EPB, and EPS. The automotive ABS solution, based on the SMC6008AF single-chip integration of braking control functions, integrates functional modules including digital valve drive, high-precision constant-current valve drive, pump motor pre-drive, high-side drive, vehicle speed output drive, and warning light drive. The built-in wheel speed sensor interface supports three data input types: standard I-type two-wire, intelligent II-type two-wire, and III-type VDA two-wire. The SMC6008 is primarily used in chassis control systems, ABS, and valve control, while the SMC6012, with more resources and higher performance, can be applied in ABS systems, ESC systems, and One-Box systems.

The automotive-grade MCU KF32A158 is based on the self-developed KungFu core, certified for ASIL-B automotive functional safety, and offers up to 2MB ECC Flash and 256KB RAM, supporting A/B partition bootloader. Its information security management unit provides key secure storage, multiple AES encryption/decryption, and secure boot functions. The KF32A158 also offers interfaces such as CANFD, USART (LIN), SPI, and IIC, along with MCAL software services compliant with AutoSar standards, making it suitable for applications including vehicle control and chassis control, intelligent cockpit and connectivity control, battery/power/thermal management control, and smart lighting and sensor control.
The SRT1200 is a highly integrated, low-power UHF ASK/FSK RF receiver launched by ChipON Microelectronics, integrating two core modules—RF front-end and digital baseband—requiring only a few external components for reliable wireless communication. Its receiving path employs a dual-quadrature mixing and low-IF architecture with image rejection capability, and a high-precision SD-ADC achieves high sensitivity at low link gain. The SRT1200 can be applied in areas such as vehicle key signal reception and tire pressure monitoring signal reception.
