Chifeng Jilong Gold: Estimated Gold Equivalent Metal Volume of SND Project at Sepon Gold-Copper Mine in Laos Increases to 260 Tons

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Chifeng Jilong Gold (06693) issued an announcement stating that the latest mineral resource estimate for the SND Project was prepared and disclosed in accordance with the JORC Code. The total contained and inferred resource metal volume amounts to 260 tons of gold equivalent, representing an increase of approximately 143% compared to the mineral resource volume first announced on August 7, 2025.

Based on a cut-off grade of 0.40 g/t gold equivalent, the SND Project contains: (1) Indicated resources of 170 million tonnes of ore, with a gold grade of 0.55 g/t, copper grade of 0.26%, equivalent gold grade of 0.83 g/t, containing 96 tonnes of gold, 450,000 tonnes of copper, and 140 tonnes of gold equivalent metal; and (2) Inferred resources of 190 million tonnes of ore, with a gold grade of 0.39 g/t, copper grade of 0.19%, equivalent gold grade of 0.59 g/t, containing 76 tonnes of gold, 360,000 tonnes of copper, and approximately 110 tonnes of gold equivalent metal.

This updated mineral resource estimate has significantly enhanced the overall resource scale of the SND Project and further strengthened the project's development prospects, confirming it as one of the most important gold and copper mine discoveries in Southeast Asia in recent years.

Mineralization in the SND Project remains open to the southwest and at depth, indicating significant potential for further growth in mineral resource scale. Other surrounding areas within the exploration license also present favorable prospects for discovering intrusion-related porphyry, hydrothermal, and skarn-type gold and copper deposits.

Ongoing metallurgical test work is expected to optimize the processing flowsheet to achieve higher overall recovery rates or lower processing costs.

The Company plans to engage internationally leading design and consulting firms as soon as possible to initiate a pre-feasibility study and advance the project development plan.
