en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 31, 2026, BloombergNEF (BNEF), an international energy research institution, released its third-quarter 2026 Tier 1 list of energy storage system manufacturers. HIZENERGY, a Chinese company founded just four years ago, was included in the list on its first application, joining the ranks of global energy storage system suppliers and establishing itself as a specialized player in the commercial and industrial energy storage sector.

This edition of the Tier 1 list includes 68 manufacturers, most of which are established industry players with over a decade of operations. Founded in June 2022, HIZENERGY passed the Tier 1 assessment on its first application, breaking the industry's conventional wisdom that new ventures typically require 5 to 8 years to meet Tier 1 standards.

The company regards independent R&D as its core competitive advantage, with over half of its employees being R&D engineers and holding more than 120 patents related to energy storage technology. In 2026, HIZENERGY launched a patented liquid-cooled 300 kW/460 kWh power conversion system, addressing long-standing pain points in commercial and industrial energy storage systems, such as large footprint, high parallel operation losses, and high expansion costs, thereby building a differentiated foundation for its product roadmap.

Commercial project performance provided support for HIZENERGY's Tier 1 qualification. As of mid-2026, the company's cumulative installed energy storage capacity exceeded 1.8 GWh, with more than 6,000 energy storage cabinets deployed nationwide. The company possesses global parallel deployment capabilities, having established localized teams in Europe and Southeast Asia, and operates projects in overseas regions including Belgium and Germany, in line with BNEF's global assessment criteria.

After obtaining BNEF Tier 1 status, HIZENERGY plans to continue deepening core R&D, iterating on large-capacity liquid-cooled energy storage systems and intelligent energy management software, expanding its localized service networks in Europe and Southeast Asia, enriching energy storage application scenarios, and focusing on the global commercial and industrial energy storage track to provide stable, economical, and clean energy to commercial and industrial enterprises.
