U.S. SR Inc Aggregates Seven Buyers to Procure 180 MW Solar Project

(SR Inc) announced that Phase II of the Millers Branch solar facility in Haskell County, Texas, has achieved commercial operation, with a capacity of 180 megawatts, now delivering power to the ERCOT grid.

All capacity from the project was aggregated and procured by SR Inc's Net Zero Consortium for Buyers. Seven buyers signed aggregated virtual power purchase agreements (VPPAs) with Southern Power Company, contracting for the full 180 MW of capacity.

The allocation of Renewable Energy Certificates is as follows: Cisco, as the anchor buyer, receives certificates corresponding to 50 MW; Juniper Networks receives 40 MW; Bio-Rad, Cadence, and IDEXX each receive 20 MW; PTC receives 10 MW; and another large healthcare company receives the remaining 20 MW portion under the aggregated procurement structure.
