Import services processed 867,417 tons that month, up 44.1% year-on-year, representing the largest positive factor driving overall growth. Among these, bulk cargo grew by 720.4%, breakbulk or general cargo by 93.9%, and containers by 20.1%.

Export services handled 1,022,470 tons, down 3.6% year-on-year, mainly due to a 100.0% decrease in bulk cargo. Transshipment and transfer services processed 57,192 tons, down 22.0% year-on-year, with transshipment activity falling by 29.2%. Coastal shipping handled 357,201 tons, down 1.4% year-on-year, with loading volumes decreasing by 2.8%. Transit services processed 41,780 tons, down 2.1% year-on-year, with unloading and loading volumes declining by 1.6% and 5.7%, respectively.

By service category share, export services accounted for 43.6%, import services for 37.0%, coastal shipping for 15.2%, and transshipment and transfer combined with transit accounted for 4.2% of total port throughput.

In terms of containers, 135,400 TEUs were handled in June, up 23.1% year-on-year, with both 40-foot and 20-foot container volumes rising. 40-foot containers totaled 65,257 units, up 23.5% year-on-year, accounting for 93.0% of total container volume; 20-foot containers totaled 4,886 units, up 12.1% year-on-year, accounting for 7.0% of total container volume.

In cumulative terms, from January to June 2026, the region's ports handled a total of 13,879,796 tons of cargo, up 7.5% year-on-year; imports, coastal shipping, and exports grew by 10.4%, 17.3%, and 3.6%, respectively, while transshipment and transfer fell by 3.7% and transit declined by 0.8%.
