UK's ETL Acquires Amphinicy to Expand Satellite Ground System Business

The deal brings ETL's RF and digital equipment and Amphinicy's software products under one business system, covering signal processing, software modems, operational monitoring, and network management in satellite ground systems.

Amphinicy's products include the Monica monitoring system and the Blink broadband software modem, applied in satellite communications and Earth observation services. In March 2026, the two companies completed joint testing of ETL's RF network digitization equipment with the Blink software modem, forming a satellite ground system solution compliant with digital intermediate frequency interoperability standards.

Following the acquisition, Amphinicy will continue to operate independently within the ETL Group, with its existing management team, customer relationships, and product development activities unchanged, and will continue to pursue a vendor-neutral technology roadmap. The company will also advance the development of the ViSAGE virtualized non-terrestrial network gateway service platform, with related products targeting satellite communications, Earth observation, defense, and government communications sectors.
