Massey Ferguson Brazil to Launch 35-60 hp MF 2700 Tractors in 2026
en.Wedoany.com Reported - Massey Ferguson, a benchmark company in the Brazilian agricultural market, will launch the new MF 2700 series tractors at Expointer 2026, entering the compact tractor segment and offering new options for small and medium-sized farmers. The event is scheduled to take place from August 29 to September 6 in Esteio, Rio Grande do Sul (Esteio, RS), where the brand will showcase a portfolio combining machinery, precision agriculture, connectivity, and services to enhance agricultural operational efficiency. The launch of the MF 2700 is part of Massey Ferguson's 2026 innovation strategy, with the brand planning to introduce new products throughout the year across categories such as tractors, planters, harvesters, sprayers, and precision agriculture solutions.

The MF 2700 series was developed by Massey Ferguson in partnership with SDF, one of the world's leading tractor manufacturers, with a power range between 35 hp and 60 hp. It features a three-cylinder mechanical engine and an eight-speed transmission, offering ease of operation and low maintenance costs. The series adopts a platform-type design, suitable for applications such as horticulture, fruit cultivation, grain production, livestock farming, and general tasks. Targeting small-scale farmers and specialized operational needs, it emphasizes durability, simplicity of operation, and cost-effectiveness.
Lucas Zanetti, Product Marketing Manager at Massey Ferguson, stated that the brand's goal is to deliver integrated solutions combining equipment, digital technology, and services to make operations more efficient, economical, and productive, regardless of farm size. Speaking about the MF 2700, Zanetti said that through this series, the brand expands its presence in this strategic market segment, beginning to serve farmers seeking compact, robust, and reliable tractors for a variety of applications. He emphasized that this is a solution developed in line with real conditions in Brazilian fields, continuing Massey Ferguson's hallmark traits of durability and performance.
In addition to the MF 2700, Massey Ferguson will also bring a range of technologies covering the entire production cycle to the event. The MF 9S series is the brand's largest and most powerful tractor line in Brazil, equipped with automation, connectivity, and telematics features, designed for large-scale operations. The MF 5M and MF 6M series make precision agriculture accessible to more farmers by offering technologies such as autopilot and embedded connectivity, while providing simpler and more cost-effective options.
The MF 3700 series features four-cylinder engines ranging from 75 to 85 hp, offering 8/12/15-speed transmission options, as well as various configurations including 2WD/4WD and platform/cab. It is suited for farmers with higher demands for power and versatility, applicable to scenarios such as grain, rice, citrus, livestock, fruits and vegetables, and general operations.
In the planting segment, the Momentum planter is available in two large-field configurations—18 to 24 rows and 30 to 40 rows—equipped with intelligent weight distribution and input control technologies to ensure more uniform emergence, reduce waste, and make better use of operational windows. For smaller plots, Massey Ferguson offers the MF 500 rigid planter, ensuring high planting quality and combining multiple agronomic advantages.
In the harvesting segment, the MF 9005S axial-flow combine series introduces several improvements for better straw chopping and uniform spreading, benefiting no-till direct seeding of subsequent crops. The MF 500R sprayer integrates precision application technology to reduce input waste, minimize overlaps and skips, and improve operational efficiency. The brand will also showcase forage harvesting solutions designed to produce high-quality feed with greater operational efficiency.
