en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 25, Avaada Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Haryana Enterprise Promotion Centre (HEPC) of India to develop a 300-acre green industrial park in Hisar, with a proposed investment of approximately INR 100 billion. The project plans to integrate traceable round-the-clock renewable energy supply, along with industrial infrastructure and green manufacturing facilities, and is expected to create over 5,000 jobs.

Under the agreement, the Government of Haryana, through HEPC, will facilitate administrative coordination for the park, including industrial park qualification, customized incentive packages, public infrastructure, transportation connectivity, utility support, and statutory approvals. The project is proposed to be developed as a government-supported green industrial park and "Zero-CBAM" industrial park model, with HEPC coordinating with relevant government departments for project approvals through the local single-window mechanism.

Avaada Group and the Government of Haryana also plan to bring in anchor investors, technology partners, and industrial enterprises to the park, with joint investment promotion efforts targeted at markets including Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Japan, and South Korea. At this stage, the project has not yet announced a construction timeline, commencement date, or the specific technology mix for the park's renewable energy system.

As of May 2026, Avaada Group's renewable energy project portfolio reached 17.7 GWp, of which over 7.2 GWp is operational and approximately 10.5 GWp is under construction. The group's existing operations cover solar, wind, solar-plus-storage, and other round-the-clock renewable energy projects; it already has a 50 MWp renewable energy project operational in Haryana.
