Germany's windpunx expands wind O&M portfolio to 2.85 GW

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 17, Berlin-based wind farm operations management company windpunx announced that since the beginning of 2026, it has added 287 MW to its wind operations management portfolio, with a further 161 MW of projects already under contract. windpunx currently provides technical operations management for more than 1,200 wind turbines in Germany and other European markets, with total installed capacity reaching 2.85 GW, serving nearly 200 customers, with some operations management contracts running for up to 15 years.

windpunx primarily provides technical and commercial operations management services for onshore wind assets of various manufacturers and sizes. The 287 MW disclosed this time represents wind assets newly brought under management since 2026, while the 161 MW comprises projects already under contract that will gradually enter the operations management system. The company did not further disclose the specific wind farms, countries, number of turbines, or owner names corresponding to the new projects.

While expanding its management portfolio, windpunx is advancing the application of artificial intelligence and data tools in wind operations, developing and testing digital tools for operational reporting, data analysis, and portfolio management with startups and technology partners, used to identify technical anomalies, support operational decisions, and asset operations management. The company's existing quality management system has been certified to ISO 9001.
