UFP's automated corrugated packaging plant in Las Vegas, USA, begins production
en.Wedoany.com Reported - UFP Packaging has opened a new All Boxed Up corrugated packaging production base in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, to expand its corrugated box converting capacity in the western United States. The new plant features an automated production and material handling layout, serving customers in food and beverage, consumer goods, logistics, e-commerce, and industrial packaging. The first box was produced on May 25 of this year.

Phase one of the project begins with the installation of 3 high-speed corrugated board converting lines, with the production process equipped with automatic feeding, bundle conveying, robotic palletizing, and finished product handling systems. The initial equipment includes 2 flexo folder-gluers and 1 rotary die-cutter, used for the production of standard boxes, printed boxes, and die-cut packaging products.
After the phase one equipment was brought online, UFP continued to add 3 more machines to the Las Vegas facility, further expanding the plant's converting capacity. The new plant adopts a phased construction model, allowing additional box converting, die-cutting, and automated material handling equipment to be added as order volume grows.
The project stems from UFP Packaging's ongoing expansion of its corrugated packaging business. UFP Industries acquired Titan Corrugated and All Boxed Up in 2022, and Titan's highly automated plant in Flower Mound, Texas, subsequently became the foundation for UFP to replicate its corrugated converting model. At the time of the acquisition, the company had already made clear its plan to replicate the automated and robotic production model in other target markets.
In April 2025, UFP officially announced the construction of its third corrugated packaging production facility in the western United States, planned to cover both stock standard boxes and custom corrugated packaging business. The Las Vegas base thus became an important node in its western corrugated packaging capacity layout.
UFP Packaging currently operates more than 80 packaging facilities in the United States and has more than 20 production and service locations overseas, with products covering corrugated packaging, wooden pallets, industrial wooden crates, cushioning materials, and custom industrial packaging. The Las Vegas project mainly supplements its corrugated box converting capacity in the western United States.
