en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 13, French cloud computing company Scaleway announced at the ai-PULSE 2026 conference held in Paris that it will deploy artificial intelligence computing clusters in Stockholm, Sweden and Copenhagen, Denmark. The Swedish project will use AMD Instinct MI355X accelerators to build a supercomputer, while the Danish project will use the NVIDIA HGX B300 computing platform, with plans to configure thousands of GPUs. The Swedish facility will become Scaleway's first AI supercomputer deployed outside France.

The Swedish supercomputer uses AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs and the ROCm software platform. Bull is responsible for computing cluster integration, cabinet and cooling system installation, on-site data center deployment, and subsequent hardware maintenance; Giga Computing supplies computing servers, HPE Networking provides high-performance Ethernet equipment, VAST Data is responsible for the high-performance data platform, and Motul supplies liquid cooling media for the high-density computing facility.

Scaleway will also deploy local computing facilities through its existing partnership with Swedish telecommunications operator Tele2. The two parties announced cooperation arrangements in May 2026 to provide cloud computing and artificial intelligence services in Sweden. Tele2 operates two data centers in Sweden, and the supercomputer planned by Scaleway will provide AMD GPU computing resources to European enterprises, AI developers, and startups.

The Danish project plans to establish a new GPU Zone in Copenhagen, using the NVIDIA HGX B300 platform to provide large-scale computing resources for AI model training and inference. Scaleway currently provides cloud computing services to the Copenhagen municipal government and AI company Corti, and the new facility will be incorporated into the company's planned GPU computing infrastructure in Europe.

In the cloud computing facility expansion plan announced at the same time, Scaleway announced that it will add three new cloud computing availability zones each in Stockholm and Frankfurt, Germany in 2027, for a total of six. The company is also opening two new availability zones in Milan, Italy, bringing the total number of availability zones in its local cloud region to three. According to its announced long-term deployment targets, the combined planned scale of GPU facilities in Paris, Stockholm, and Copenhagen will reach tens of thousands of GPUs, tens of ExaFLOPS of computing power, and tens of megawatts of power capacity.
