Wedoany.com Report on Feb 11th, A seminar focusing on the application of artificial intelligence in the construction sector was held in Murcia, co-organized by the technology consulting firm Stratesys and the Construction Technology Center (Ctcon), as part of the activities of the Artificial Intelligence Working Group of the Ptec platform. This conference is part of the technology monitoring project "Centinel," funded by the Feder Fund, the Murcia Regional Promotion Institute, and Ris4mur.

During the seminar, Jorge de Rojas, an AI expert from Stratesys, served as the keynote speaker, emphasizing the profound impact of AI technology on the construction industry. He pointed out that artificial intelligence has demonstrated strong capabilities in data analysis and time optimization, effectively addressing information overload and serving as a structural solution. Jorge de Rojas stated: "There are bottlenecks in the project lifecycle, such as document management, where intelligent agents can play a key role in redefining how we interact with information."

The application of artificial intelligence is driving the construction industry toward intelligent models, including specialized areas such as semantic search, automated document generation, and risk identification, to improve efficiency. Roque Jiménez, the regional head of Stratesys's new office, added: "Adopting these technologies requires understanding the specificities of each business. We have already assembled dedicated teams that combine AI knowledge with an understanding of construction processes."

This seminar highlighted the mature application of artificial intelligence in the construction industry, helping to accelerate the adoption of new working methods and promote more efficient production models. Initiatives like this in the Murcia region are driving the industry to interact with information in a more agile manner, enhancing competitiveness.
