China Southern Airlines' Newly Delivered C919 Large Aircraft Officially Enters Service with Maiden Flight

Wedoany.com Report on Feb 12th, the ninth China-made C919 large aircraft newly received by China Southern Airlines officially entered service, with its maiden flight operating on the Guangzhou-Xi'an route.

After the maiden flight, this aircraft is scheduled to operate two round trips daily on the Changsha-Beijing Daxing route during the Spring Festival travel rush. The specific schedule is:

CZ3717/CZ3718: Departs from Changsha Huanghua Airport at 9:30, arrives at Beijing Daxing Airport at 12:00; departs from Beijing Daxing Airport at 13:10, arrives at Changsha Huanghua Airport at 16:00.

CZ3147/CZ6137: Departs from Changsha Huanghua Airport at 17:30, arrives at Beijing Daxing Airport at 20:00; departs from Beijing Daxing Airport at 21:30, arrives at Changsha Huanghua Airport at 00:10 the next day.

As of now, China Southern Airlines' C919 fleet has a total of 9 delivered aircraft.

Since the Spring Festival travel rush began on February 2nd, China Southern Airlines has continued to increase capacity deployment of China-made aircraft. The C919 and C909 aircraft have operated nearly 1,400 flights, a 49.1% increase compared to the same period in the 2025 Spring Festival travel rush, carrying over 123,000 passengers, a 60.3% year-on-year increase. Among them, China Southern's China-made C919 aircraft have operated 275 flights, carrying over 38,000 passengers, with a seat occupancy rate of 86.3%.
