Procurement Content: Supply of 333.33 MVA 500 kV power transformers for the Upper Northern Region Transmission System Improvement Project to enhance system security. Project No.: TIPN-TX-04 Procurement Category: Power Equipment Supply (International Open Tender) Specifications: 333.33 MVA 500 kV single-phase unit auto-transformers, 3 units in total (forming one three-phase transformer bank), with a Basic Insulation Level (BIL) not less than 1425 kV, complete with lightning arresters mounted on the tank, insulating oil, accessories, and a common control cabinet. Project Scope: Includes design, manufacturing, testing, transportation, site installation supervision, commissioning, and trial operation of the transformers, and provision of all accessories, spare parts (including specified types and quantities of auxiliary relays), and special tools. Service Scope: Covers supply of the transformer main body, on-load tap changers, bushings, cooling systems, control and protection systems, online monitoring devices; submission of technical documents, drawing approval, witnessing of factory tests, on-site technical services, operation and maintenance training. Purchaser Nature: State-Owned Enterprise (Self-Funded) Procurement Quantity: 1 set of three-phase transformer bank (3 single-phase transformers) Budget Amount: 303,000,000.00 THB (including VAT and other expenses) Funding Source: EGAT's own funds Project Location: Upper Northern Region of Thailand Notice Type: Tender Notice (including supplementary notices) Financier: No external financing institution; project is self-funded. Core Bidder Qualification Requirements: Must be an established manufacturer with a permanent business location; must meet overseas performance requirements (at least 6 transformers of the same specification successfully operating overseas for 5 years, OR at least 2 sets of 1000 MVA three-phase auto-transformers successfully operating overseas for 5 years, OR a combination thereof) or EGAT system performance requirements; must provide short-circuit test records or an EGAT-issued manufacturing "Acceptance Letter"; must provide written policy proof compliant with Thai anti-corruption regulations. |
