QLG 40.5 is an expandable ring main unit used in secondary distribution networks. The QLG 40.5 ring main unit offers a variety of standard configurations, making it suitable for most 36 ~ 40.5kV distribution network applications.

The stainless steel gas chamber of the QLG 40.5 is filled with SF6 gas, completely sealing all live parts and switches, isolating them from the external environment.
