The 500kV DC circuit breaker adopts the coupling negative voltage hybrid DC breaking topology developed by Tsinghua University. It is capable of interrupting a 25kA DC current within 3ms, making it suitable for the rapid clearance and isolation of faults in DC power grids. Its technical parameters fully meet the requirements of the Zhangbei Flexible DC Demonstration Project. The DCCB-535/3000-25 500kV DC circuit breaker primarily consists of a fast mechanical switch, a power electronic valve, a coupling negative voltage module, and an arrester.
