The podded propulsor products cover a power range from 0.15MW to 25MW. Currently, 200kW, 1100kW, and 3000kW podded propulsor products have been successfully applied on vessels and are operating well. The podded propulsors are divided into two types: push-type (ICARUS series) and pull-type (DAEDALUS series). The push-type podded propulsor has a propeller with a nozzle and is suitable for vessels with high thrust or dynamic positioning requirements, with a cruising speed not exceeding 12 knots. The pull-type podded propulsor, without a nozzle, is suitable for vessels requiring high propulsion efficiency or high cruising speeds.
