Ultra-pure ferrite stainless steel, free of nickel, significantly reduces production costs compared to 300-series stainless steel. By lowering the C+N content (below 200ppm), it enhances corrosion resistance and processing performance, typically using grades 439 and 443 to replace 304, and 445 to replace 316L.
