- High Safety: Natural ester (vegetable) insulating oil is a kind of insulating oil with a high flash point, with a flash point as high as 300°C. Moreover, its indicators such as ignition time, smoke generation rate and diffusion speed are all superior to those of mineral insulating oil.
- Environmentally Friendly: Natural ester (vegetable) insulating oil has the best environmental protection characteristics. Its biodegradation rate exceeds 97% within 28 days in the natural environment.
- Prolong the Insulation Life of Transformers. The molecular polarity of natural ester (vegetable) insulating oil is relatively large, and its hydrophilicity is stronger than that of mineral insulating oil. Thus, it can absorb more moisture from the insulating paper to reduce the moisture content in the insulating paper, thereby prolonging the life of the insulating paper.
- High Heat Resistance Class. Natural ester (vegetable) insulating oil belongs to the insulating medium of Class B heat resistance (130°C). High-temperature solid insulating materials can be used in combination with natural ester (vegetable) insulating oil to increase the temperature rise limit of natural ester (vegetable) insulating oil transformers, reduce the weight and volume of transformers, and improve the overload capacity and service life of transformers.
- Excellent Electrical Performance. The power frequency breakdown voltage of natural ester (vegetable) insulating oil can reach above 75kV, higher than the standard value (50kV) of mineral insulating oil power transformers of 500kV and above voltage levels. It can slow down the aging speed of solid insulating materials and prolong the service life of transformers.
