The clear-turbid separator consists of internal components including a backwash water distributor, filter cotton balls, stainless steel mesh, flared inlet, and baffle. Through a flocculant dosing device, flocculant is mixed with water via a pipeline mixer and introduced into the lower part of the clear-turbid separator, allowing the flocculant and water to fully mix and react. This process flocculates fine suspended solids into larger flocs. The flocculated water passes through an intermediate baffle and is then filtered through high-efficiency filter cotton balls at the upper part, with clean water entering the disc membrane purifier. The large particulate flocs settled at the bottom are removed through timed automatic sludge discharge, eliminating the flocculated impurities. The first two stages address sand and turbidity removal, ensuring the effluent turbidity meets requirements, while enabling automatic blowdown, continuous turbidity removal, and strong air-water flushing of the filter cotton balls to maintain front-end purification capacity.
