The GW22A series single-column vertical-break single-arm folding outdoor three-phase high-voltage AC disconnect switch is used for switching high-voltage lines under no-load conditions and for electrically isolating or connecting high-voltage electrical equipment, such as high-voltage busbars and circuit breakers under maintenance, from or to live high-voltage lines. The GW22A product consists of three single poles, each with a single-column structure, mainly composed of a base, post insulator, rotating insulator, main blade, and main blade static contact. The post insulator and rotating insulator are arranged side by side on the base, with the main blade installed at the top of the post insulator and rotating insulator, and the main blade static contact mounted on the transmission busbar. The main blade is a mechanical hand-like single-arm folding structure. During opening, it folds downward like a human arm, forming a vertical insulating break with the static contact directly above. During closing, it extends upward and straightens like a human arm, with the moving contact clamping the static contact to complete the closing action.
