The ZGW8-816/1100 outdoor ultra-high voltage DC disconnect switch features a double-column horizontal-break, single-arm horizontal telescopic insertion structure. It is primarily composed of a triangular base, post insulators, operating insulator, main blade, static contact, grading ring, and operating mechanism. The post insulators are arranged side by side on the base, with the operating insulator installed at the center of the moving side tripod. The main blade is mounted at the center of the top of the moving side post insulator, and the main blade static contact is positioned at the center of the top of the other side's post insulator. The post insulators adopt a tripod structure to enhance stability. The insulators can be either porcelain insulators or composite insulators.
