The BB3 Type – SMXS/SMXD double-supported bearing centrifugal pump is a single-casing, back-to-back impeller, horizontally axially split, single-stage inlet multistage between-bearing volute pump that fully complies with API 610 (ISO 13709) standards. The first-stage impeller can optionally be designed with a double-suction configuration to meet low NPSH requirements.

Applications: Refineries, petrochemical industry, coal chemical plants, crude oil and refinery product pipelines, water injection, boiler feedwater for thermal power plants and industrial plants, mining, seawater desalination, reverse osmosis. Optional application in energy recovery systems with hydraulic turbines.
