Product Overview

The PCS-931 series is a digital ultra (extra) high-voltage transmission line complete fiber-optic current differential protection device. It features fast primary protection based mainly on split-phase current differential and zero-sequence current differential elements, unique power-frequency variation distance protection, and a full set of backup protection consisting of three-stage phase-to-phase and ground distance protection plus multi-stage zero-sequence directional overcurrent protection. It also includes automatic reclosing functionality and can serve as primary and backup protection for 220kV and above transmission lines. The device fully supports digital substation functions, IEC 61850-9-2 sampling value transmission protocol, IEC 61850 communication protocol, and real-time GOOSE functionality.
