A two-component water-based epoxy primer composed of water-based epoxy resin, rust-inhibiting pigments, and water-based curing agent.

Main Performance

Water-based coating, non-toxic and pollution-free to the environment; the film is tough, abrasion-resistant, impact-resistant, resistant to seawater and diesel; it is a general-purpose primer that cures at room temperature, dries quickly, and has excellent physical and mechanical properties; the film offers good anticorrosion performance and outstanding adhesion to blast-cleaned carbon steel surfaces.

Design Purpose

Used as a general-purpose epoxy primer for new construction and maintenance of steel structures; suitable for protection of steel structures in moderate to severe atmospheric corrosive environments; can be used as a general-purpose epoxy primer for underwater steel structures such as ships, port and dock facilities, chemical and petroleum refining equipment, drilling platforms, etc.

Can be overcoated with various topcoats including water-based acrylic, water-based epoxy, and water-based polyurethane.
