A two-component epoxy anticorrosive / intermediate paint composed of epoxy resin, micaceous iron oxide antirust pigment, and modified cashew nut shell liquid curing agent. It features ultra-high solids content and low viscosity.
Main Performance
Due to the high content of flake-shaped micaceous iron oxide, it forms a “labyrinth” effect in the coating film, resulting in excellent barrier properties and corrosion resistance. It exhibits outstanding resistance to chemical atmospheres, industrial atmospheres, and marine atmospheres, as well as good resistance to seawater, salts, weak acids, and weak alkalis. It can be used alone or in combination with other primers and topcoats.
Design Purpose
Can be used as an intermediate layer and sealer coat over high-performance anticorrosive primers such as epoxy zinc-rich primer or inorganic zinc-rich primer to enhance the overall barrier and protective performance of the coating system. It can be used alone as an anticorrosive paint for steel structures or in combination with other primers and topcoats. It can serve as a surface barrier anticorrosive coating for concrete and similar structures. It can also be used as a maintenance primer over existing coatings, provided compatibility is confirmed.
