A two-component solvent-based self-curing inorganic zinc-rich primer; its composition complies with international standard ISO 12944 and American standard SSPC Paint 20; meets Type 1 Class 1 requirements of HG/T 3668; can also be customized with Type II low-lead zinc powder meeting ASTM D520 standard according to order requirements.
Main Performance
The coating film contains a high content of metallic zinc powder, providing excellent cathodic protection and rust prevention; outstanding anticorrosion, weather resistance, and abrasion resistance; in dry environments, long-term temperature resistance up to 400°C, and resistance to occasional short-term high temperatures up to 500°C; excellent chemical resistance in media with pH 6-9; weldable primer.
Design Purpose
Used as a high-performance anticorrosive primer for steel structures in atmospheric environments; as a single coat, suitable for steel surfaces exposed to moderate to severe corrosive environments and prone to abrasion; can be used on inner walls of cargo holds or storage tanks for loading low-moisture oils or solvents and approved dry cargoes.
