It can produce medium and heavy plates with thickness ranging from 6 to 350mm and width ranging from 900 to 4850mm. With an annual production capacity of 6.5 million tons, it is the largest medium and heavy plate production base (single base) in the world. Among global steel enterprises, its medium and heavy plate product variety capability ranks A+. The plate products mainly include varieties such as steel for shipbuilding and offshore platforms, steel for oil and gas pipelines, steel for pressure vessels, steel for high-rise building structures, structural steel for bridges, and high-strength steel for construction machinery.
