- Structural Features of Flanged Bi-directional Sealing High-Performance Butterfly Valve This butterfly valve utilizes a high-performance composite material sealing pair or a hard-faced alloy steel sealing pair, achieving zero leakage and long service life. The innovative floating valve seat design ensures bi-directional sealing of the valve, completely solving the problem of eccentric butterfly valves only allowing unidirectional sealing. This butterfly valve possesses all the advantages of a triple eccentric butterfly valve while also featuring highly reliable bi-directional sealing. The high-performance triple eccentric bi-directional sealing butterfly valve is characterized by: the valve seat sealing ring consisting of a soft T-shaped sealing ring flanked by multiple layers of stainless steel sheets on both sides. The sealing surfaces of the disc and valve seat are designed with an inclined conical structure, with temperature-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy materials hard-faced onto the inclined conical surface of the disc; and a structure comprising springs fixed between the adjusting ring pressure plate and the pressure plate adjusting bolts assembled together. This structure effectively compensates for the tolerance zone between the bushings and the valve body, as well as the elastic deformation of the valve stem under medium pressure, solving the sealing problems that exist during bi-directional medium transfer. The use of a soft T-shaped sealing ring with multiple layers of stainless steel sheets on both sides combines the dual advantages of metal hard sealing and soft sealing, providing zero-leakage sealing performance under both low and high-temperature conditions.
Applications
This butterfly valve is suitable for critical pipelines requiring bi-directional sealing, frequent opening/closing, and high reliability in fields such as food and beverage, pure pipelines, petrochemicals, power generation, metallurgy, transportation, large-scale construction, pharmaceuticals, chemical industry, etc., for use as an on-off or flow control valve.
