Down-the-Hole Bit

Down-the-hole bits (also known as DTH bits or spline connection bits) are a type of drilling tool that connect to the impactor via splines on the bit body. They guide the impact and transmit rotation for rock fragmentation. They are primarily used in large-scale mining operations (open-pit, underground) for ore extraction, open-pit quarrying of building stone, and other large-scale construction projects.
