Hard Rock Cutter

Hard rock cutters include disc cutters, steel cutter rings, and toothed cutter rings, etc., suitable for hard rock and ultra-hard rock formations with uniaxial compressive strength greater than 40MPa. The company has conducted joint research with universities such as Central South University and University of Science and Technology Beijing, developing steel cutter rings in three materials: JLDQ001, JLDQ002, and JLDQ003. Through advanced vacuum heat treatment processes and gradient heat treatment processes, the cutter rings are suitable for hard rock and ultra-hard rock formations with rock strengths between 40 MPa and 240 MPa, as well as composite formations with varying hardness. For composite formations below moderately weathered layers, airfoil-toothed cutter rings and block-insert cutter rings have been developed, ensuring long-distance tunneling without cutter replacement and improving construction efficiency.
