WOER self-adaptive weathering resistance & water proofing tape is an independently developed tape for waterproofing and insulation. It has excellent insulation and water proofing features, which facilitate widely application on cable, optical cable, overhead line and exposed metal conductor insulation and protection up to 35kV. It is used to enhance electrical products' insulation and avoid electrical incidents caused by aged electrical products, to eventually improve insulation in power distribution network. It can be also used to water-proofing protection for telecommunication equipments, such as the joints of outdoor base station, antenna, optical divider, coupler, tower defense, GPS, integrated cabinet.
Simply wrap the tape over the area to be protected, and the tape will be cured and forms a layer of excellent insulation and waterproofing after exposed to air. Simple operation makes it easy for quick repair jobs without special tools.
It is available to tailor or reshape the tapes as required on site.

Preparation before installation:
Under the temperature of-20°C~40°C;
No installation under oil mist, sandstorm and strong wind;
Keep the metal surface dry and clean;
Preparation for all safety assurance and labor protection;
Check if there is any damage on vacuum package, replace it with a new one if any.
Surface Cleaning:
Clean the area to be applied with alcohol tissue, wipe off all the oil and dust, and wait for the alcohol to dry out;
Use manual or electric tools to polish the burrs on metal surfaces and to smooth out the electric field;
Installation Instruction 1 (Especially for overhead lines, cables and metal conductors)
Step 1. Make sure the package is intact, and then unpack the product with a scissor in three sides, take out the tape;
Step 2. Take off the release liner above on one side of the tape. Align the side without the release liner with the area which shall be prepared.
Step 3. Take off the release liner above the tape. Apply the tape on the area and wrap carefully around it. Exhaust the air while wrapping.
Step 4. Press it tightly and apply it properly, check if there is gap in the joint area.
Installation Instruction 2 (Especially for irregular-shaped metal parts)
Step 1. Make sure the package is intact, and then unpack the product with a scissor in three sides, take out the tape;
Step 2. Take off the release liner from both sides of the tape and grasp one end of the tape uprightly and keep the tape away from any contamination.
Step 3. Apply the tape on the area and wrap carefully around it with overlap.
Step 4. Exhaust the air while wrapping.
Step 5. The end of the wrapping must be a smooth, flat or a circular surface without protrusions and it must be wrapped back to the body, press it for 2-3 seconds until tape completely has been bonded without gaps. If there are big metal parts encountered, multiple tapes can be applied.
Attention:
This product contains chemical materials. Do not swallow;
This product shall be stored in dry place under storage temp 0℃~30℃;
Unpack the product with a scissor in three sides, take out the self-fusing tape, avoid folding;
After unpacking the product from vacuum package, use it immediately;
If the product is not smooth or there is overflow partially, it will not affect the use.
