Spray-Set Waterborne Rubber

TuLing® Spray-Set Waterborne Rubber pioneers high-molecular self-assembly technology in the field of spray-set rubber asphalt, overcoming the extreme challenge of instantaneous one-time film formation for waterborne coatings, filling a domestic gap, and achieving a technical level certified by national ministries as internationally leading. This material is a liquid rubber emulsion (Component A, with a solid content of 55%–75%) formulated from anionic rubber emulsion and specially prepared nano-grade asphalt emulsion, which reacts with a special curing agent (Component B) to form a continuous, dense waterborne polymer coating with functions such as waterproofing, anti-corrosion, seepage prevention, thermal insulation, and sound insulation.

1. True “skin-type” waterproofing
Utilizing mechanical conformal spraying, it can fully encapsulate various irregular and complex substrates. Through nano-grade polymer physical penetration and chemical hydrogen bonding coupling, it achieves ultra-strong adhesion to the substrate, with a bonding strength to concrete of ≥0.6 MPa, thereby forming a continuous, dense, and seamless “skin-type” waterproofing layer that prevents water channeling issues caused by laps or poor adhesion.
2. Superior extensibility, self-sealing and self-healing, intelligent repair: Average elongation at break can reach over 1000%, with a recovery rate of over 85%. Having passed 2 million cycles of railway fatigue simulation tests, it resists tearing and puncture, self-seals and self-heals, effectively solving leakage problems caused by structural stress deformation, settlement, expansion cracking, and puncturing.
3. Full life-cycle protection: The material exhibits excellent weatherability. As tested by the National Building Materials Testing Center, artificial climate aging tests have reached 10,000 hours, allowing it to match the service life of building structures.
4. Excellent corrosion resistance and impermeability: After immersion tests in acid, alkali, and salt media, as well as salt spray treatment (1500 hours), the material's performance remains above 95%. With a permeability coefficient of 7.8*10 ^-13 cm/s, it is suitable for anti-seepage and anti-corrosion projects such as water conservancy works, dam bodies, and sewage treatment.
5. Excellent high and low temperature resistance: It withstands high temperatures up to 160°C and low temperatures down to -50°C, making it suitable for all regions and various temperature environments across the country.
6. Unique reverse adhesion property
With a peel strength to post-cast concrete of ≥2.0 N/mm, it is applied to basement floor slabs, side walls of underground structures without slopes, and mined tunnels, ensuring full bonding between the waterproofing layer and the structural water-facing surface, thereby guaranteeing waterproofing effectiveness.
7. Full-chain waterborne environmental protection
It contains no organic solvents, consumes only 3.5 kW·h of electricity per ton of material produced, and produces no wastewater discharge. According to calculations by the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, compared to similar products, its full life-cycle carbon emissions can be reduced by 86%.
8. Convenient and efficient process
Mechanical spraying at ambient temperature, with a spray-set process that forms a film in 4 seconds, achieving the design thickness in a single spray pass. Construction efficiency is 4–10 times that of traditional processes, significantly shortening the construction period.
9. Applicable on damp substrates: Construction is possible when the substrate moisture content is less than 28% (damp without visible water).
No work stoppage during the rainy season.
10. Winter construction capability: Winter-grade products are available, allowing construction at temperatures above -15°C in winter.
