Reactive Powder Concrete is a new type of material with high strength, high toughness, high durability, and good volume stability. Its basic components include cement, quartz sand, and reactive admixtures, without the use of coarse aggregates. High-strength special steel fibers are incorporated to enhance the toughness and volume stability of the finished product. When applied in engineering structures, RPC can overcome the disadvantages of ordinary concrete components, such as low tensile strength, high brittleness, and poor volume stability. It also possesses the following characteristics:
- High grade, high compressive strength, and high flexural strength;
- Long service life, excellent durability, and virtually no maintenance costs, making it especially suitable for severely cold regions;
- Under the same load, it can reduce the weight of platform panels, resulting in relatively lower transportation and installation costs;
- Regular dimensions, resistant to corner damage, cracking, and edge chipping, easy to shape, and aesthetically pleasing;
- Can be drilled and cut, offering convenient construction.
