Product Overview
The mining intrinsically safe pan-tilt camera is a video acquisition terminal device suitable for underground coal mine explosion-proof monitoring systems. It features low illumination, high definition, and low power consumption. It is mainly used in fully mechanized mining faces and important transfer point areas to build video monitoring systems. The camera outputs on-site scene images to the monitoring terminal through the ring network, and under the control of the terminal platform software, drives the motor to rotate the pan-tilt to the desired position. By controlling the horizontal rotation and pitch rotation of the pan-tilt and adjusting the lens aperture and focal length, it facilitates real-time monitoring of the shearer operating status and related transfer point status in the fully mechanized mining face at the crossheading centralized control center and the surface monitoring center.
Product Functions
Wide-Angle Monitoring
Horizontal rotation angle range: 0–355°, pitch rotation angle range: 0–90°.
Voice Intercom
Built-in voice module facilitates two-way voice intercom between the surface dispatch center, the working face, and the centralized control center, enabling more timely and efficient information exchange.
POE Power Supply
Compact structure, small size, simple and convenient installation. A single cable simultaneously satisfies "power + transmission" requirements. Requires a corresponding access gateway/switch.
Edge Computing
Equipped with visual recognition functions such as regional intrusion monitoring, face monitoring, and people counting; with the support of backend software, it maintains continuous shearer drum tracking monitoring.
Product Features
● The camera integrates a solid-state CCD device with a network transceiver, both placed together in the housing, achieving integrated camera and network switching.
● The camera captures images at a resolution of 1920×1080, supporting 4x optical zoom and 16x digital zoom.
● Stainless steel housing with unique sealing process, IP65 protection rating, capable of adapting to harsh underground coal mine environments with high humidity and dust.
● When ambient illumination is as low as 0.05Lux (with infrared auxiliary lighting), it can still clearly see the monitored object.
● Video and audio signals are transmitted via TCP/IP protocol, featuring long transmission distance, high efficiency, and strong real-time performance.

Typical Applications
The underground coal mining industry, especially fully mechanized mining and heading faces, has extremely special requirements for video monitoring systems based on its safety requirements and production characteristics. First, electrical equipment used underground must have explosion-proof performance and obtain corresponding safety certifications; second, the equipment itself must meet requirements for dustproofing, moisture resistance, anti-interference, high and low temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance. Underground coal mine production sites are numerous and poorly lit, requiring monitoring equipment to cover a wide area. The mining pan-tilt camera has made progress in mine environment adaptability, technical performance, and functions, with real-time, accurate, and effective monitoring. Compared with traditional bullet cameras, the pan-tilt camera performs better in low illumination, monitoring image clarity, information transmission, and intelligence. When applied to the video monitoring system of fully mechanized mining faces, a small number of pan-tilt cameras can achieve shearer tracking video; in key areas of the working face, the horizontal rotation and pitch rotation of the camera and the adjustment of lens aperture and focal length can be controlled to facilitate clear viewing of on-site conditions; it is an indispensable part of building a mine video monitoring system.
