The latest result of subsequent development is the new LPe6 which integrates servo electric punching and laser cutting technology making the best of both worlds. In 1998, FINN-POWER introduced the servo electric E series work centre. It is the optimum machine tool for "Any Component", with several work stages performed automatically on one machine. The new generation E series with its unique versatility is complemented by to by integrated laser cutting in LPe6. In punching, the cell features FINN-POWERs well-known capabilities. Forming capacity is especially versatile due to availability of upforming unit and progressive forming, which allows making bends. Servo electric machine tools continue their breakthrough, combining low operating and maintenance cost with superior precision, ergonomics and compatibility with modern ecological thinking. Major energy savings are achieved by FINN-POWERs Ecopunch concept which uses braking energy in the acceleration of the next movement. In mechanical design, the E series work centre is traditional FINN-POWER: robust "O" frame, 20 station turret, fast index mechanism, fast traverse speed, fast turret rotation, extremely accurate positioning, compatibility with several tooling styles... all the features that have made FINN-POWER punching technology so well-known since early 1980s.
