haeuslers 4-roll plate bending machine developments have become a common standard globally requested over the years. in 1965 haeusler was the first to launch the hydraulic 4-roll plate bending machine on the market. a fe......haeuslers 4-roll plate bending machine developments have become a common standard globally requested over the years. in 1965 haeusler was the first to launch the hydraulic 4-roll plate bending machine on the market. a few years later haeusler initiated the first hydraulic rotation drive of the top and bottom rolls. since the beginning these haeusler developments along with our comprehensive after-sales-service, our prime quality, customized projects and close customer relationship helped us to achieve the global top market leader position in 4-roller plate bending machine technology. the vrm bending process feeding and automatic aligning of plate raising of entry side roller to pre-bend leading edge lowering of entry side roller raising of exit side roller continuation of bending and automatic pre-bending of trailing edge lowering bottom roller and opening of tilting bearing, unloading of workpiece. the complete process is handled by only one machine operator and takes approx. 7 min. depending on the diameter. cone rolling system due to the inclination of the bottom roller, the cone blank to be rolled is clamped on the big radius and transported by top and bottom rollers. there is no firm contact between plate and rollers at the smaller radius and thus differences of circumferential speeds do not have to be compensated. the thrust of the plate is absorbed by a special cone bending shoe (haeusler patent) creating the necessary friction to compensate the circumferential difference in the small and big radius.
