Both models are constructed from stainless steel and other non-corrosive materials, providing the latest in clipper technology and sanitary design. Each model also utilizes a "hand operated gate," which is designed to gather and clip package film in one quick, continuous motion. The vertical SC487 model is ideal for clip closing fibrous, collagen, plastic and bulky animal casings, while the SF487 horizontal model easily clips most bags. Both models come equipped with a power driven cut-off knife and crimp control that allows an operator to adjust the tightness of the clip. They are just great, all-purpose clippers!
