Ground was broken Mary 14th for the expanded facility. Completion is planned for October, in time for Kitamura Machinerys 75th Anniversary in November. The companys decision to expand is the result of increased customer demand for larger size machining centers required globally by industries including aerospace, automotive and medical industries, along with growing sales opportunities in the heavy construction equipment and oil and gas industries. "A need to expand your primary facility refleects succcessful, satisfied customers and a machining center manufacturer which itself is expanding globally," said Dr. Akihiro Kitamura, the Companys President.
