The SG model is the ideal machine for mould makers and professionals of t......Some years ago BERMAQ began to be specialized in the machinery for the production of large-sized moulds on polystyrene, fibres, resins and plastic. The SG model is the ideal machine for mould makers and professionals of the nautical, aeronautical, car and railway sector. Most of these machines are designed for the creation of hull and pleasure boat moulds. This machining process has reduced in 90% the time necessary to carry out these tasks, which are mostly nowadays made by hand. BERMAQ has recently manufactured several models of this machine series. Among them, we would like to point out one Numerically Controlled (CNC) Milling Machine equipped with 5 axes, with dimensions 10.000 mm. long and 2.600 mm. wide and with a 10-position tool changer, linear type, located on the X axis. This machine is equipped with a high-technology numerical control which allows to carry out multiple functions and a teleservice system to guarantee the on-line communication with BERMAQ. As a special feature, we highlight its tightness perimeter closing: at the upper part, an automatic bridge type roof in both sides, panels with windows at the front and rear part, with sliding doors. This machine is working at CEHIPAR (Canal de Experiencias Hidrodinmicas de El Pardo, -El Pardo Model Basin-), a centre that depends on the Spanish Ministry of Defence, based on the study, testing and research of the hydrodynamic aspects of shipbuilding either military, merchant, fishing or recreational.
