In 2017, our company developed waste heat recovery technology for gasifiers. The efficient waste heat boiler for 3500t/d pulverized coal gasification unit has been put into use, realizing the efficient recovery and utilization of sensible heat of syngas from pulverized coal gasifiers; 5 related patents have been obtained, which has increased the thermal efficiency of gasification equipment by about 5% and reduced CO emissions by ~0.08kg/Nm³ (syngas).

Efficient waste heat boiler

The waste heat boiler uses the sensible heat of the high-temperature syngas of the gasifier to heat the water of the waste heat boiler, generate high-pressure steam for power generation, return to the gasifier as a gasification medium, heating or other industrial applications.

Benefit Analysis

(1) High-temperature synthesis gas is reduced from 1500℃ to 850℃, producing high-pressure steam >100t/h;
(2) External drainage is reduced, and the investment cost of wet washing and clarification system is reduced by 1.5 million;
(3) 39,600 tons of standard coal are saved/year, generating benefits of 41.6 million/year;
(4) C0: emissions are reduced by 106,000 tons/year
