Integrated Design: The system combines a permanent magnet motor with gear transmission, a frequency converter, a hydraulic control system, an adjustable viscous torque limiter, and a brake, all in one integrated design.
-
Enhanced Efficiency: Traditional systems use a 4-pole motor with a speed of 1480 RPM and a 3-stage reducer. The new motor is an 8-pole permanent magnet motor with approximately half the speed, paired with a 2-stage reducer. This compact structure reduces wear, extends equipment life, and minimizes potential failure points.
-
Compact Integration: The integration of the permanent magnet motor and reducer reduces the overall size, volume, and weight of the system, particularly in the direction parallel to the secondary scraper conveyor. This allows for the reduction of transition frames when used with three-machine systems. The traditional motor is 3452 mm long, while the new motor is only 2995 mm long. When installed on the rear conveyor in a top-coal caving face, replacing a transition frame with a central frame can increase coal extraction by one more frame, leading to significant economic benefits.

Advanced Features: The 3300V permanent magnet frequency integrated machine includes a built-in torque limiter, offering instantaneous overload protection for the reducer, similar to a hydraulic coupling. This function was co-developed with a reducer manufacturer, making it unique in the industry. The system also includes a state-of-the-art monitoring data collector, which tracks the reducer's temperature, speed, and oil level. The low-speed, high-torque characteristics of the permanent magnet motor, combined with the brake, enable intelligent chain tensioning, eliminating the need for a traditional hydraulic motor system.
