Spain's Imports Of Venezuelan Crude Are At Their Highest Level Since 2006

Wedoany.com Report-Dec 05, Spanish crude imports from Venezuela this year reached their highest level since 2006, according to Spanish government data, as the United States granted Spanish energy giant Repsol a license to import Venezuelan crude.
Spain has imported about 2.6 million tonnes of Venezuelan crude so far this year, according to data Cores, a Spanish government agency cited by Reuters. In the same period of 2006, Spain imported about 2.7 million tons of Venezuelan crude oil.
Venezuela has boosted crude exports to Western countries this year thanks to the easing of U.S. sanctions and the granting of specific licenses to European companies such as Repsol and Italy's Eni
