  1. Product Composition:

The surface-driven screw pump system primarily consists of two parts: the surface section and the downhole section.

Surface Section: Drive unit (including drive motor, drive square clamp, anti-drop square clamp, protective cover), control system, sealing device, wellhead cross, and connecting cables;

Downhole Section: Tubing, polished rod, sucker rod, screw pump, and tubing anchor;

  1. Product Advantages

①Saves initial investment; compared to centrifugal pumps and pumping units, the screw pump has a lower initial investment due to its simple structure.

②The surface equipment is simple in structure, easy to install, and can be directly connected to the wellhead casing cross, occupying a small area.

③High pump efficiency, energy-saving, and low management costs. The volumetric efficiency of the pump can reach 90%, making it one of the most energy-efficient and efficient mechanical oil recovery devices available.

④Adapts to a wide range of viscosities and can lift heavy oil.

⑤Suitable for high sand content wells. Theoretically, screw pumps can transport slurry with a sand content of up to 50%. They can operate normally with a maximum sand content of 10% in crude oil.

⑥Suitable for high gas content wells. Screw pumps do not gas lock, making them more suitable for oil and gas mixed transport, although free gas at the downhole pump inlet will occupy a certain pump volume.

⑦Allows for higher wellhead back pressure. Under normal pumping conditions, the wellhead back pressure can be controlled within 1.5MPa or higher, which is beneficial for remote well gathering and transportation.

  1. Product Application

The surface-driven screw pump oil production system uses a surface drive device to rotate the screw pump. The motor speed is controlled through a frequency conversion control system to adjust the displacement, improving system efficiency and overcoming the drawbacks of crude oil leakage at the wellhead dynamic seal. At the same time, the oil recovery equipment is simple in structure, flexible and accurate in control, and energy-saving and environmentally friendly. It is better suited for oil well exploitation.

Currently, oil well exploitation mainly applies to Xinjiang Oilfield, Jidong Oilfield, Henan Oilfield, Shengli Oilfield, Qinghai Oilfield, and Jilin Oilfield; the surface-driven screw pump is used in approximately 80 wells annually.
