Wedoany.com Report on Mar 18th, Julia Pyke, the former co-managing director of the Sizewell C nuclear power station, has joined infrastructure advisory firm Agilia Infrastructure Partners as its executive chair after leaving her role at the end of 2025.

Pyke led the financing and development phases of the Sizewell C project before handing over responsibilities to Nigel Cann. She joins Agilia, a company founded in 2015 by Mike Pugsley and Amar Qureshi, which helped develop the Regulated Asset Base (RAB) financing model now used for major infrastructure projects like Sizewell C.
Agilia, with offices in London and Teesside, advises governments, regulators, and investors on complex projects in energy, water, transport, and defence. It currently supports projects with a total investment value exceeding £100 billion, including Sizewell C, the Havant Thicket Reservoir in Hampshire, and the UK's small modular reactor programme.
At Agilia, Pyke succeeds James Stewart, who helped guide the company's growth and led the government-backed Stewart Review.
Pyke said: "The UK is entering a once-in-a-generation period of infrastructure rebuilding and renewal. These projects shape the nation's future, and turning them from vision into reality requires experience, determination, and the right people. During my time on Sizewell C, working alongside Agilia, I saw firsthand the value of their practical, hands-on project experience in translating grand national ambitions into deliverable projects. I am delighted to be working alongside Mike, Amar, and the rest of the Agilia team to help deliver the infrastructure that supports national prosperity and resilience—from the energy that secures our power supply to the water and transport systems communities rely on every day."
Agilia co-founder Amar Qureshi said: "The UK has the ambition and capital to deliver the most important infrastructure projects in a generation. What is critical now is the leadership and experience to turn those plans into real projects. Julia is one of the few people who has helped take a project of Sizewell C's scale from vision to full construction. Her values, experience, and skills complement our own expertise in integrating developers, government, investors, and industry to deliver complex, nationally significant projects. Julia joining our team reinforces our ambition to continue supporting the next wave of major infrastructure delivery in the UK."
