(KEPCO), BP IOTA Holdings Limited (BPIOTA), Tokyo Gas., and Marutaka Corporation, has been appointed to operate an offshore wind farm off the coast of Yuza Town in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan.

The project involves constructing, maintaining, and operating a 450MW bottom-fixed offshore wind farm. The project, situated off the coast of Yuza Town in Yamagata Prefecture, is managed by Yamagata Yuza Offshore Wind. The stakeholders include Marubeni, KEPCO, BPIOTA (a 100% subsidiary of bp p.l.c.), Tokyo Gas, and Marutaka. The wind farm will sell power under the Feed-in Premium scheme.
