en.Wedoany.com Reported - On April 27, 2026, at the Baidu AI Day Open House held in Beijing, Baidu Library and Baidu Netdisk jointly released the general agent "GenFlow 4.0" and fully upgraded Office Agent. Users can deploy OpenClaw with one click within the Netdisk general agent GenFlow 4.0, transforming Baijiahao and Netdisk into the industry's first all-platform "AI Workbench." According to official data, to date, GenFlow 4.0 has over 100 million monthly active users and delivers 200 million tasks per month, becoming a significant milestone in the large-scale application of Baidu's AI agents.

Since the launch of version 1.0 in April 2025, the GenFlow series has undergone four iterations within a year, achieving exponential improvements in task efficiency and delivery quality. As the industry's first general agent deeply integrated with office suites, GenFlow 4.0's Office Agent supports users in issuing a single natural language command to invoke three sub-agents—PPT, Excel, and Word—in parallel, enabling collaborative generation and flexible editing of cross-modal content, effectively driving AI office work from "single-point tools" to "multi-agent collaboration."

The PPT Agent has achieved breakthroughs in both professionalism and creative expression. It supports automatic material collection, structured chart generation, and professional formatting, reducing tasks that previously took days to minutes. It also offers a one-click beautification function for older PPTs, preserving original content logic while enhancing visual presentation. The Excel Agent is the first to realize complex data processing through natural language commands. Users can input instructions such as "Identify all experimental data files, compile them into a new table, retain three decimals, and mark abnormal values in red" or "Calculate the company's quarterly revenue growth rate," and the system will automatically perform multi-format file data filtering, formula calculations, and chart generation. The Word Agent can quickly generate professional texts exceeding 10,000 characters, such as market research reports and academic papers, automatically perceiving and retrieving industry information from Baijiahaoi and Netdisk's public and private data, outputting complete, structured, and deliverable documents.

In terms of technical architecture, GenFlow 4.0 upgrades the "Memory Hub," achieving full-cycle, cross-platform autonomous memory and intent understanding, allowing it to proactively progress tasks and automatically switch working modes. Its "Team Space" is also innovative, advocating for deploying agents where data resides rather than migrating data into the agent environment, thus inherently inheriting Baidu Netdisk's existing team directories, permission systems, and collaboration history, effectively addressing the industry pain point of disconnection between AI agents and underlying data.

On the ecosystem collaboration front, GenFlow 4.0 announces deep compatibility with open-source frameworks such as OpenClaw. Individual and team users can deploy it with zero barriers on the Netdisk PC or App, without occupying local memory. The platform also provides preset skill libraries for PPT, Excel, creative writing, etc., and plans to integrate more open-source ecosystem skills. To date, Baidu Netdisk has served over 1 billion users, with GenFlow 4.0 attracting more than 240,000 developers and covering over 6,000 enterprises.

According to the roadmap, Baidu Netdisk will release a video editing agent at the Baidu Create conference in May, and launch a team version "Agent Collaborative Legion" at the end of May, encompassing hundreds of agents for professional Office, graphics, video, operations, and data analysis. By then, users can deploy multiple agents via a single command to collaboratively complete complex tasks, continuously driving individual and team office work from "solo operations" to "legion collaboration."
