en.Wedoany.com Reported - Metal Hawk (ASX:MHK) announced plans to resume reverse circulation drilling at its Leinster South project in late June, following recent positive results from high-grade gold exploration.

The company has received final assay results from a 18-hole, 2,734-meter reverse circulation (RC) drilling program completed in April 2026 at the Thylacine and Tysons prospects in the Agnew-Lawlers region of Western Australia. The drilling results confirmed the Thylacine South area as a high-priority target, hosting significant widths of shallow, high-grade gold mineralization, including: hole LSD005 intersected 2.30 meters at 15.30 g/t gold from 28.10 meters; and hole 26LSRC066 intersected 3 meters at 9.80 g/t gold from 32 meters.

The Thylacine East prospect also delivered encouraging progress, with hole 26LSRC068 intersecting 8 meters at 3.20 g/t gold from 26 meters, and a further 8 meters at 3.00 g/t gold from 148 meters. Managing Director Will Belbin said the company is continuously improving its geological understanding of gold mineralization controls through targeted drilling and geophysical methods. He noted: "Thylacine South is emerging as a standout prospect with significant widths of high-quality gold mineralization... We look forward to the next RC drilling program to verify and expand these results."

Although hole 26LSRC070 at Thylacine East deviated significantly from its intended target, it still returned 4 meters at 1.80 g/t gold from 108 meters, and 2 meters at 3.60 g/t gold from 182 meters. The deviation indicates that the shallow high-grade gold zone identified in 26LSRC068 has not been fully tested, with potential for expansion at depth and to the south. The company plans to establish a new drill pad to the west to properly evaluate this area during the next RC program.

At the Tysons prospect, RC drilling returned 2 meters at 1.50 g/t gold from 69 meters (hole 26LSRC072), and 1 meter at 1.10 g/t gold from 79 meters (hole 26LSRC073). The company also completed a ground gravity survey over a 14-square-kilometer area east of the Lawlers Anticline. Belbin noted: "The survey has confirmed structural targets within untested granite east of Tysons... This area lies on the same structural corridor as the Wonder gold deposit, representing an exciting new untested target zone."

Filtered gravity data, combined with aeromagnetic data, support the interpretation of significant structural features in the buried granite topography beneath cover east of Tysons. Key near east-west trending structures, including the interpreted western extension of the Wonder shear zone, are now well defined. Regional aeromagnetic interpretation suggests that the northwest-west trending Wonder shear zone extends from Northern Star Resources' (ASX:NST) Wonder gold deposit, through Metal Hawk's tenements, to the Tysons prospect at the edge of the greenstone belt. The Wonder deposit is a granite-hosted orebody characterized by high-grade gold mineralization associated with major shear structures.
