en.Wedoany.com Reported - China's MeeBee Technology has completed a new round of several hundred million yuan in Angel+ strategic financing. This round was led by Guofang Venture Capital, with participation from Futeng Capital, Shanghai Dianke Fund, Yuanqi Innovation, and others. Existing shareholders Junpu Intelligence and CDH VGC continued to make additional investments. Founded in February this year, the company is a one-stop physical AI data service platform initiated by Zhiyuan Robotics. In the same month, it completed several hundred million yuan in Seed and Angel rounds led by Sequoia Capital China, with participation from CDH VGC, BV Baidu Ventures, Yunfeng Capital, Muhua Kechuang, Junpu Intelligence, and Lingchu Intelligence.

This round of financing will primarily be used for the mass production of the MEgo series hardware, iteration of full-chain data governance technology, global deployment of collection networks, and expansion of the Hive ecosystem. The goal is to solidify the technological barriers of body-free data collection, accelerate the implementation of standardized data systems, and expand high-quality data production capacity across multiple scenarios. This marks MeeBee Technology's second capital market support within four months, following the completion of several hundred million yuan in Seed and Angel rounds in February.

MeeBee Technology was established to address the data shortage bottleneck in the large-scale development of the embodied intelligence industry. Large language models can be trained using vast amounts of internet text data, while embodied intelligence relies on real-world physical interaction data such as robot grasping, handling, assembly, force control, and visual perception. According to industry estimates, training an embodied intelligence system comparable to ChatGPT-5 requires hundreds of billions of hours of data, yet the current global availability of high-quality physical AI data is only around 500,000 hours. This results in issues such as missing standards, inconsistent quality, and mismatched supply and demand. Traditional data service providers often adopt a "point breakthrough" model, relying on customized robotic arms and fixed workstations for data collection, which incurs high equipment costs and long deployment cycles.

MeeBee Technology has developed a full-paradigm data supply system encompassing "real machines, body-free, and simulation," integrating the entire business chain of "hardware + software + platform + scenario + operations." On the data collection side, the company has launched the MEgo series of body-free collection hardware, including the MEgo View head-mounted and wrist-mounted dual-perspective device and the MEgo Gripper two-finger gripper. These devices are centered around "humans," enabling "collect-as-you-go" data collection without the need for professional training. The MEgo Gripper is equipped with millimeter-level trajectory reconstruction technology, achieving a trajectory restoration accuracy of up to 1mm. It is natively isomorphic with the Zhiyuan Genie G2 Air, ensuring that body-free collected data is homologous and coexistent with real machine data.

In the data governance phase, MeeBee Technology has independently developed the MEgo Engine, a one-stop data governance platform capable of multi-source data time alignment, 6D trajectory reconstruction, and intelligent filtering, improving traditional manual annotation efficiency by over 10 times. Additionally, it has built the Maniformer one-stop physical AI data service platform, offering open data supply-demand matching services across industries. This platform provides standardized datasets in five categories—grasping, handling, assembly, inspection, and human-machine interaction—available for on-demand purchase. It also offers end-to-end solutions for leading robotics companies and major tech firms, including customized scenario-specific data collection and private data factory construction.

Looking ahead, MeeBee Technology plans to achieve a data production capacity of tens of millions of hours by 2026 and aims to reach tens of billions of hours of data volume by 2030. In collaboration with institutions such as the CCID Research Institute under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Data Standards Committee, the company will launch the "Hive Data Co-Creation Initiative" to promote the implementation of unified industry standards.
